Journal Party Podcast, you're listening to the Journal Party podcast where every week we get together for the ultimate journal jam session as we journal through life together as a community. My name's Alex Gallner, and I'll be your host. So, Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going on like that until we're finished. Feel free to write on whatever you like or even just follow along in your car. If you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it. There's no wrong way to do this. So welcome to the Party Journal. Party. Party. What's up, party people? Hope everyone's doing okay out there. I had to take a bit of a break on Friday that just sort of stretched out into the weekend. Normally I'm a little more active, but I was feeling a little bit overwhelmed. Not gonna lie, there's a lot going on over here. No worries though. Feeling overwhelmed is a totally normal emotion, and we all feel it from time to time, whatever the reason. It's important to find healthy ways to deal with your feelings, and one way that I do this is by journaling. For me, journaling can be a helpful tool for managing stress and anxiety. It can be a place to vent all your feelings without judgment. It can be a place to work through your problems and figure out solutions. It can be a place to track your progress. See how far you come. There's just no end to the value that you can get by putting your thoughts on paper. So if you're feeling overwhelmed, Why not give journaling a try? That's why today we're gonna be working through five journal prompts to help you when you're feeling overwhelmed. So get ready. Here comes your first prompt. What are the top three things that are causing you to feel overwhelmed? What are the top three things that are causing you to feel overwhelmed? Here comes prompt number two. What are three things that you can do to help reduce your stress levels? What are three things that you can do to help reduce your stress levels? Almost halfway there. Here comes prompt number three. What is one thing that you're grateful for despite feeling overwhelmed. What is one thing that you're grateful for despite feeling overwhelmed. Moving along to prompt number four, what would be your ideal outcome for the situation that's causing you to feel overwhelmed? What would be your ideal outcome for the situation that's causing you to feel overwhelmed? Okay, here comes your last prompt of the day. Write a letter to your stressor. This could be a person or an event, or whatever it is. Tell them everything that they've made you feel. Write a letter to your stressor and tell them everything that they've made you feel. All righty. I hope that these journal prompts were helpful for you. If you're feeling overwhelmed, remember that you're not alone. We all feel this way from time to time, and journaling can be a really helpful tool for managing your emotions and working through all your problems. And of course, if you still need help, think about reaching out for support. Good friends and family are great when you just need to vent or be heard, or if it's something that's a little heavier, there's no shame in seeking therapy or counseling. I'm always a big advocate for getting help from professionals because it's just completely transformed my life. So why would I be ashamed of that? Anyway, whatever it is, I'll leave you with one thought. This too shall pass, as they say. I think that's what they say. It feel it felt right. All right, and that's our show folks.
