You're listening to the Journal Party podcast where every week we get together for the ultimate journal jam session as we journal through life together as a community. My name's Alex Galler, and I'll be your host. So, Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going on like that until we're finished. Feel free to write on whatever you like or even just follow along in your car. If you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it. There's no wrong way to do this. So welcome to the Party Journal. Party. What's up? Party people? Do you believe that we all have a unique purpose in this life? I do. I think I do. Or maybe it's that we create our own purpose through our actions and our choices. What do you think? Well, either way, exploring the concept of having a purpose in life can be useful by reflecting on your values, passions, and skills. You can identify what's most important to you and what you want to achieve in this life. Ultimately, by taking the time to reflect on your purpose, you may find greater fulfillment and satisfaction in your daily life. I mean, you gotta admit, it's gotta be satisfying to feel like you're doing what you're meant to be doing. Easier said than done though. But no worries if you haven't guessed. Today's journal, jam Sesh is all about purpose. Today we're gonna be jamming through five journal prompts for exploring your purpose in life and why you're here. So let's get started. Think about the things that make you light up. What makes you feel alive and excited? Your first journal, prompt of the day is what are you passionate about? What are you passionate about? There are certain things that I'm certain you're good at. Maybe you're a natural born salesperson, or maybe you're a wiz with numbers. Whatever it is, it's gonna feel great if you use your talents to make the world a better place. So your second journal prompt of the day is what comes easily to you. What comes easily to you? Okay, let's keep it going. This next one is similar to the first prompt, but it's important to ask yourself what you love doing, not just what you're passionate about. Your passion might be something that you're not necessarily good at yet, but if you love doing it, keep pursuing it and you'll be amazed where it takes you. Your third journal prompt of the day is, what do you love doing? What do you love doing? So I believe that we all have something special to offer the world. Think about how your unique talents and abilities can help those around you. Whether it's making someone laugh or giving them a shoulder to cry on. We all have the power to make a difference in somebody else's life. Journal prompt number four. The day is, How can you help others? How can you help others? Okay, let's keep it going. With that external focus, I think it's gonna help us to gain even more perspective. To identify areas where we feel called to make a difference. So your fifth and final journal prompt of the day is, what does the world need more of? What does the world need more of? How do you feel? I know that was a lot to chew on. So after this, you might wanna spend some time free writing until your ideas start to gel if they haven't already. You know, if you're done, you're done. Purposeful living doesn't mean that everything in life will be easy or that everything will go according to plan. But it does mean that we all have a role to play in making the world a better place. So trust your gut, follow your heart, pursue your passions. You never know where they might lead you. Of course, if I can support you in any of that, please reach out, hit me up on Twitter and Instagram at journal party, omg. I'd love to hear your thoughts and please send in your requests for different prompt themes. Please be sure to check out our free guided journaling app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. There are tons of free prompts on there and a growing community of journalists, and we'd love to have you. I think you'll enjoy it. Also, we got a brand new journal, prompt book out called 365 journal prompts, writing prompts for daily journaling and self-reflection aptly named. This is actually a completely different thing than the ebook that we used to give out, if you remember that from some of our earlier episodes. So definitely make sure you check it out. The cool thing about this one is that it's digest size, so it's a little smaller, and it's great for tucking into your journal so that you never run out of things to write about. Check it out and if you do, please leave a review. It really helps get us boosted up in the old Amazon catalog. And if you enjoy today's show, please leave a review on that as well and spread the words so that we can make this an even bigger party next week. And I hope you have a wonderful week this week. Party on.
