You're listening to the Journal Party podcast where every week we get together for the ultimate journal jam session as we journal through life together as a community. My name's Alex Galler, and I'll be your host. So, Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going on like that until we're finished. Feel free to write on whatever you like or even just follow along in your car. If you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it. There's no wrong way to do this. So welcome to the Party Journal. Party. What is up Party people? Do you ever feel swept away by all the changes going on around us? It's hard not to. Change is inevitable. It's constant. You can either embrace it or fight it, but ultimately you have to accept it if you want to keep moving forward. Keeping a journal is one of the best ways to come to terms with change and orient yourself for personal growth. That's why today we're gonna be jamming through five journal prompts that can help you to reflect on change and start embracing the inevitable. Writing down what has changed can help you to identify patterns and give you insight into how these changes might further shape your future. It's important to acknowledge the shifts in your life, no matter how big or small they may be. So your first prompt of the day is, What has changed in my life recently? What has changed in my life recently? This next prompt helps you to take a step back and reflect on how these changes will affect your life in both the short term and the long term. Thinking through potential consequences can help you to come up with a plan of action for dealing with them, and even capitalize on unexpected opportunities that arise as a result. Your second prompt of the day is, what do these changes mean for me? What do these changes mean for me? All righty. Let's keep it going. Change can often be uncomfortable. So taking time to acknowledge your feelings about it is essential. Are you feeling scared, excited, overwhelmed, relieved? Being honest with yourself about how this transition makes you feel inside is key to understanding your own emotional journey during times of upheaval. So here comes your third prompt. How am I feeling about these changes? How am I feeling about these changes? Knowing what tools and resources are available during times of transition can make all the difference when it comes to adapting effectively, whether it's extra support from family or friends, self-care practices, or simply more information about what's happening. Take some time to think through what would serve you best at this moment in time. Your fourth prompt of the day is, what do I need right now? What do I need right now? So every experience can teach us something. It's just up to us whether we choose to pay attention and learn from it. Taking time to pause and consider what wisdom this experience holds for us will help us to grow and remind us that there's always something new we can learn. When faced with change, your last journal prompt of the day is, what lessons have I learned from this experience? What lessons have I learned from this experience? And ding goes the ding dong bell. No matter how much we try, we cannot avoid change. But if we lean into it rather than resisting or fearing it, then we open ourselves up to incredible possibilities. Reflecting on our experiences in our journals, like this is an excellent way to gain insight into our lives and start embracing whatever changes come our way with confidence and grace.
