What's up party people? You're listening to the Journal Party podcast where every week we get together for a little guided journaling jam sash. My name is Alex Goner and I'll be your host. So here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going on like that. Until we're finished, feel free to write 'em whatever you like. And if you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it. There's no wrong way to do this. So welcome to the party Journal. Party. Yeah, party people. What's up, how we doing? I've been thinking a lot about mission lately. What really drives us? What makes us feel alive and what bigger purpose we're working toward. For me, that's getting a million people to journal with us. I mean, they can, they don't have to journal with us, but I wanna get a million people to journal in general, because I believe that self-reflection makes the world a better place. But missions don't have to be grand. I mean, it's cool if they are, but sometimes they're just deeply personal. Either way. Today we're gonna be jamming through five journal prompts to help you connect with your mission, whether it's something you're already working on or something that you're still uncovering. So open up that journal and let's get this party started. Here comes prompt number one. What's something you care deeply about, even if no one is watching? Prompt number two, think about a moment when you felt truly in alignment. What were you doing? Prompt number three. If you had unlimited resources, what problem would you dedicate yourself to solving? Prompt number four. What's one small action you can take today to move toward a mission that excites you? Prompt number five. Write a pep talk to yourself as if you're already living your mission. What do you say? All right, party people. Take a second to sit with whatever came up for you. Your mission doesn't have to be world changing necessarily. It just has to matter to you. And remember, missions can evolve so. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet. The most important thing is to listen to what's calling you right now and take the next step no matter how small. Now if you want to take the next step with journaling, check out our app for some more guided journaling programs, mood and energy tracking, and a community of people that are sharing this journey with you. So you can find that in the Apple App Store as well as Google Play. Or you can just visit the web app. Which is available on our website, journal party.com, and if you haven't already, you can get a free journal when you sign up for journal Party premium. Just cover the shipping and handling and I'll send you one myself. Well, we have a warehouse that does it, and that's why we charge for the shipping and handling. It's expensive and it comes outta my pocket. So anyway, if you want a fancy new journal and you want to try out Journal Party Premium, there is a link in the show notes for you to do exactly that. Also, I'd like to invite you to join us every Wednesday night at 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time for Journal Party Live. It is a free live stream where we journal through our newest programs together, and then we share our insights at the end. You can tune into that on our YouTube channel, our private Facebook group, or even directly inside of our app, and all the links for those are in the show notes as well. And lastly, hit me up on Instagram at journal party. Omg, if you're loving the show and please leave a review. It really helps more journalists find us and journal with us and journaling's way more fun with more people. So anyway, thanks for journaling with me today. And I just wanna let you know your mission matters, so keep following what lights you up and as always, party.
