Journal Party Journal Party Podcast Journal Party Journal Party Podcast What's up party people? You're listening to the Journal Party podcast where every week we get together to jam out to some tasty grooves while we journal through guided journal prompts as a community. My name's Alex Gallner, and I will be your host today. So I got a bit of an issue here at Journal Party HQ. I haven't eaten yet and my tummy is growling, probably because today we're talking about food. I love food. There. I said it. It's no secret that I love to eat and cook. In fact, some of my fondest memories involve food. Whether it's eating a delicious meal with my family or friends, or cooking a yummy dish for someone I care about, or simply savoring a bagel on a quiet morning, food brings happiness to my life like nothing else. I mean, what's not to love? So, yeah, it's gonna be fun trying to get through this without the mic picking up my growling stomach. But I refuse to snack during the show because I hate mouth noises and chewing noises. I should probably do a pet peeves episode about, But you, you go ahead, you grab a little snackeroo if you like, snacks and journals are two of my favorite things. So even though I can't snack, I strongly encourage that you do. Alrighty, I hope you're hungry for some tasty jams and journal prompts because we are about to get this party started. Today, we're gonna be working through five journal prompts about food and how it makes life more delicious. Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell. It sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going like that until we're finished. It's pretty simple. It's pretty fun, so let's get it done. Alrighty. Here comes food prompt number one. What is your favorite food and why? What is your favorite food and why? Alrighty. Moving on to prompt number two. What is a food that you used to hate but now love? What is a food that you used to hate but now love? Here comes prop number three. What would be your last meal? It's a source of comfort. A way to connect with others and a source of pleasure. So hopefully this helped you to get in touch with some of the ways that food intersects with your life.
