What's up party people? You are listening to the journal Party podcast where every week we get together to jam out to some killer rooms while we journal through guided journal prompts as a community. Today's episode is going to be a fright, a delight. So fun. It's scary. My name is Alex Gallner, and I'll be your ghost, I mean host. If you are looking for a way to get into the spooky holiday, spirit, you in for treat. Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I love the cool weather, the leaves changing color, and of course all the candy. But what I really love is getting into the Halloween spirit by watching scary movies, decorating my house, wearing spooky costumes and journaling. It just wouldn't be right to drop an episode of your favorite journaling podcast on Halloween and have it not be about Halloween. So go ahead and grab your favorite notebook and pen, curl up with a pumpkin spice latte or whatever, and get ready to channel your inner goth kid, because here comes five Halloween themed journal prompts to get you into the spooky holiday spirit. Here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going like that until we're dead, I mean until we're finished. Pretty simple, pretty fun. So let's get it done. Here comes prompt number one. What is your favorite scary movie? What is your favorite scary movie? All right. Moving along. Here comes prop number two. In the event of a zombie apocalypse, what would be your role in your gang of survivors? In the event of a zombie apocalypse? What would be your role in your gang of survivors? Okay, here comes Halloween, prompt number three. What was your trick or treat strategy as a kid? What was your trick or treat strategy as a kid? Here comes prompt number four. Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not? Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not? All right, boys and ghouls. Here comes the last prompt of the day. What is the best candy to get and which is the worst? What is the best candy to get on Halloween? And which is the worst? Alrighty, folks, whether you love Halloween or you find it too spooky for your taste, there's no denying that this holiday has a unique place in our culture. And what a better way to celebrate that than getting into the spirit with some ghoulish journaling.
