JOURNAL PARTY! JOURNAL PARTY PODCAST! JOURNAL PARTY! JOURNAL PARTY PODCAST! What's up party people, you're listening to the Journal Party Podcast, where every week we get together for a little guided journaling jam sesh. My name is Alex Gallner, and I'll be your host, so here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt and a groove, and you just start writing. After a few minutes, you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this, and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes, you'll hear that bell again, and we'll move on to the next prompt, and we'll just keep going on like that until we're finished. Feel free to write on whatever you like, and if you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate, or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it, there's no wrong way to do this, so welcome to the party. Journal Party! Ooh yeah! New intro, new year, 2025, what's up? What is up party people? You know that feeling when you're just like a week or so into January and that shiny new year energy starts to feel a little not so shiny anymore? I was organizing my workspace yesterday and I found my list of intentions from January 1st tucked under a pile of papers. I've already got piles of papers going. It got me thinking about how we often treat our goals like Fireworks. Big, bright, and spectacular at first, but quick to fade away. How's that for an analogy? But here's the thing. Your dreams and aspirations deserve more than just a New Year's Eve moment. They deserve your full attention, your care, and most importantly, your persistence. So today we're going to be jamming through five journal prompts that will help you to reignite that spark and keep your momentum going strong. So go ahead, grab your journal, get cozy, and let's get this party started. Here comes prompt number one. Think back to that moment when you first set your intentions for this year. What made your heart race with excitement? What possibilities made you smile? Describe that feeling of potential and possibility in detail. And if you didn't set your intentions for this year, do it now. Prompt number two. Looking at where you are right now, what small wins have you already achieved that you might be overlooking? Write about these victories, no matter how tiny they seem. Prompt number three. Imagine your future self looking back at this moment. What would they want to tell you about persistence, growth, and the beauty of the journey? Write a message from your future self to your present self. Prompt number four. What's one intention that still lights you up inside? Describe three tiny, achievable steps you could take this week to move closer to this goal. Remember, progress is a process. Over perfection. Prompt number five. Complete this sentence in as many ways as feel true. I am committed to keeping my momentum going by, I'll say it again. So you have, I am committed to keeping my momentum going by. Alright. Nice work party people. And welcome back. 2025, a whole new year. Blank slate. Feels pretty good. You know what I love about journaling is that it reminds us that our story isn't just about the big moments. It's also about all these little choices that we make every single day. And there's gonna be a lot of those. A whole, we got a whole year of days ahead of us. And in my opinion, your goals aren't meant to be perfect. They're meant to be lived, adjusted, and grown into. And from the bottom of my heart, I, I hope that you're able to live, adjust, and grow into your own goals this year. So, let us know how we can support you in that. And if you're loving these prompts and want to keep the momentum going, make sure to download our Journal Party app. We've got a whole bunch of guided journaling programs in there that will help you to crush your goals this year, whatever they are. And don't forget to join us for Journal Party Live every Wednesday at 6.

00 PM Pacific Standard Time. We took a little holiday break for a couple weeks, but we're back on this week, and it's such a beautiful way to connect with other journalists and keep that motivation flowing. You can tune into that directly through our app, our YouTube channel, or our private Facebook group. The link for all of those are in the show notes, and you can also find us on Instagram at journal party, omg. Or my personal handle at AlexGelner for daily inspiration and behind the scenes fun. And hey, if this episode resonated with you, please leave us a review. It helps other journalers find our little corner of this podcasting world. And it's competitive out there, but it's a lot more fun when there's more of us. So, please leave us a review. It's awesome when you do. Alrighty, folks. Well, as I was journaling through these prompts, I noticed that I have a little bit of work that I've been procrastinating on. And so, I'm gonna get to it. But, uh, man, it feels good to be back. I'm so happy that, uh, you found us, if you're new. And, uh, I hope you'll tune in to the next one. As always, party on.
