Journaling for self-discovery

Figure out what you really want, and start choosing it.

Seven short sessions to notice what you want, sort out which "shoulds" are really yours and make your next choice on purpose.

A woman walks down a tree-lined street with flowers she bought for herself, a notebook in her tote bag.

You always do what you're supposed to do.

Some of those shoulds are promises you want to keep. Others are old rules you picked up somewhere and never agreed to. When every choice goes through them, it gets hard to say what you'd pick if it were up to you.

Wanting something doesn't make you selfish, and noticing it doesn't mean you have to get it. On paper you can see what you want next to what you've promised, and choose on purpose.

How a Journey works

  1. 1

Primer · sets up the idea

  2. 2

Practice · prompts and a timer while you write

  3. 3

A short read · to wrap up

A Journey is a series of guided sessions that works on one thing, a day at a time.

The Primer and the short read are narrated every day, and you can pick from two voices. Rain and café sounds can play in the background if you like them.
