My name is Alex Gallner and I'll be your host so here's how it works. I'll give you a journal prompt in a groove and you just start writing. After a few minutes you'll hear a little bell that sounds like this and we'll move on to the next prompt. After a couple minutes you'll hear that bell again and we'll move on to the next prompt and we'll just keep going on like that till we're finished. Feel free to write on whatever you like, or even just follow along in your car. If you finish before the bell, you can try to dig deeper and elaborate, or just chill out and enjoy the tunes. Don't overthink it, there's no wrong way to do this. So, welcome to the party. Journal Party. What's up, party people? Have you ever found yourself tapping your foot in a long line? Feeling your blood boil when stuck in traffic? Or even getting frustrated when waiting, For a podcast host to finish a sentence. In our fast paced world, patience often feels like a luxury we can't afford. But what if cultivating patience could actually lead to a more peaceful and fulfilling life? Today I've been thinking a lot about the art of patience and how it can transform our everyday experiences and our biggest life challenges. That's why today we're going to be jamming through five journal prompts to help you to cultivate patience. So open up that journal and let's get this party started. Here comes prompt number one. Write about a recent situation where you felt impatient. What triggered this feeling and how did you react? How could you approach a similar situation with more patience in the future? I don't know why I'm doing this. Prop number two. Think of someone you know who embodies patience. Describe how they handle challenging situations and what you can learn from their behavior. Prompt number three. Reflect on a long term goal you have. How can practicing patience help you stay committed and positive throughout the journey? Prompt number four. Describe a time when being mindful helped you remain patient. What mindfulness techniques can you incorporate into your daily routine to enhance your patience? Prompt number five. Write about an area in your life where you struggle to be patient with yourself. How can you show yourself more kindness and understanding in this area? Nicely done, party people.
