Your prompts, with time to write.

Take a set of prompts from your workbook, workshop, or client resources and put them in order. Set the writing time for each, then share a session that guides people through the exercise one prompt at a time.

Build on the resources you already have.

Start with one exercise or a small set of prompts. Your existing material can be the starting point.

Alongside your workbook

Include a session link with an exercise so people can follow the prompts with writing timers while using their own journal.

For your coaching clients

Turn a reflection exercise you regularly send to clients into a guided session you can share again.

As a sample of your work

Share a short session in your newsletter or on your website to give people a feel for your prompts.

Their reflections stay in their own journals.

Participants bring their own journal and write by hand, on paper. Journal Party guides the session without collecting their journal entries.

They choose what to share with you.

If you discuss the exercise later, they decide which reflections to bring into the conversation.

A few ideas to make your own.

Create a session in three steps.

1

Choose a topic

Pick something you’d like to help your audience explore. Give your session a title, description, and cover image.

2

Add your prompts

Put your prompts in order, then set the writing time for each.

3

Publish and share

Copy the session link into an email, client message, course, or community post.

Before you create a session

Can I import a whole workbook?

You add the prompt text yourself; there isn’t an automatic workbook import. Choose an exercise, enter its prompts in order, and set the writing times. You can share the finished session link alongside the workbook.

What do I need to create a session?

You’ll need Journal Party Premium to create and publish sessions. Free trials are available on eligible plans.

What does my audience need?

A free Journal Party account and their own journal. Sessions open in a web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. The writing happens by hand.

Can I include sessions in something I sell?

Yes. Share a session link inside a coaching package, course, or membership you sell elsewhere. Anyone with the link and a free account can open it. You handle payments through your existing platform.
