Space to think before the next step.

Plans often start with a conversation about what someone wants, what they’re unsure of, and what they’re willing to try. Share a guided reflection that helps clients put those thoughts into words before you work through them together.

Bring reflection into the work ahead.

Create a session for a decision, a milestone, or a conversation you have often.

Before a career decision

Invite clients to explore what they want from their work, what they value, and which questions still need answers.

After a launch or milestone

Share prompts about what felt worthwhile, what took more energy than expected, and what they’d do differently.

Ahead of a planning session

Give clients a starting point for reviewing their priorities before you talk about goals and next steps.

Their reflections stay in their own journals.

Participants bring their own journal and write by hand, on paper. Journal Party guides the session without collecting their journal entries.

They choose what to share with you.

If you discuss the exercise later, they decide which reflections to bring into the conversation.

Create a session in three steps.

1

Choose a topic

Pick something you’d like to help your audience explore. Give your session a title, description, and cover image.

2

Add your prompts

Put your prompts in order, then set the writing time for each.

3

Publish and share

Copy the session link into an email, client message, course, or community post.

Before you create a session

What should I put in a first session?

Start with a decision or milestone that comes up often in your coaching. Add a few questions about what the client wants, what feels uncertain, and what they’d like to explore with you. Set a writing time for each prompt, then share the link.

What do I need to create a session?

You’ll need Journal Party Premium to create and publish sessions. Free trials are available on eligible plans.

What does my audience need?

A free Journal Party account and their own journal. Sessions open in a web browser on a phone, tablet, or computer. The writing happens by hand.

Can I include sessions in something I sell?

Yes. Share a session link inside a coaching package, course, or membership you sell elsewhere. Anyone with the link and a free account can open it. You handle payments through your existing platform.

Make room for the thinking behind the plan.

Turn a decision or milestone your clients face into a guided journaling session they can use before your next conversation.
